* For not much more money than a loaded mainstream compact SUV like the Honda CR-V, you can obtain an entry-level luxury SUV like the Audi Q3. In addition to the image boost an Audi immediately grants, you'll be treated to a refined ride quality, sophisticated design and premium amenities. Source: KBB.com
* Quiet and comfortable ride; upscale interior; many luxury features come standard. Source: Edmunds
* New for 2015 the Audi Q3 is the newest entrant in the compact crossover segment. Its sloping roofline gives it a coupe-like look and feel while the xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights shine throughout your ride. The large panoramic sunroof is dramatic in its openness and provides a stellar perspective of the skyline. Twelve-way power front heated sport seats, including four-way power lumbar are designed for the utmost level of comfort while dual-zone climate control ensures each passenger is comfortable. The available power tailgate opens to allowing you to store up to 48.2 cu ft of goods with the rear seat folded flat. With a 200hp 2.0L TFSI turbocharged engine, the Q3 has power to spare. It makes quick work of getting you through packed city streets, or passing on the highway with fuel economy ratings of 20mpg city and 29mpg hwy. The Q3 is also available with Audi's legendary quattro all-wheel drive system. By sending power to the wheels with the most grip, quattro helps maximize available traction to improve handling. With the available Audi drive select system you can adjust the vehicle's steering and throttle response with ease choosing from modes including Comfort, Dynamic, and Auto. The available MMI navigation system is also available with Audi connect, enabling Google Earth 3D satellite imagery, a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to eight passenger devices, local traffic and weather, news and more. Available safety features include the Audi side assist system which can help alert you when a vehicle is in your blind spot. The parking system plus with rear view camera uses rear sensors to detect when you are close to another object, while a rear view camera helps provide additional visibility. It was really difficult leaving a 19-year old Volvo that still wouldn't die. But I made the choice to try an Audi. I needed a fashionable small SUV that would get me through very bad winter driving conditions in northern Canada. I opted for the lowest trim level (Komfort) with AWD, and skipped all the driving assist equipment (who needs that anyways?) Pros: Looks great, beautiful facade and LED/Xenon headlights - I'm always getting admiring looks. Beautifully laid-out interior. Zippy when you need it to be, but great fuel economy. My overall average economy is 8.8L/100km (26.7mpg). More recently in the warmer weather it has been 7.96L/100km (29.5mpg). Steady as a rock in ice storms and snow squalls (I've NEVER felt it slip). Trunk space is very big with rear seats folded. AWESOME Audi-brand speakers/subwoofer, you do not need the Bose ones. Beautiful long standard sunroof. Rear and side mirror defrosters are very powerful. Quite small, so fits well in traffic in downtown Toronto. Smooth ride over rough roads. This car was actually a very affordable lease, cheaper than the Mazda CX-5 I was looking at. I also looked at the BMW X1 and the Mercedes GLA - considering what comes standard on the Q3, Audi was definitely the cheaper option. Cons: Must use mid-to-high grade gas (I use a combo depending on the price). Rain-sensing wipers do not have a low enough speed. Certain interior panels rattle with bass-y music. Wipers are NOT heated and do NOT defrost, no matter how high or how long you run the defroster. 18-inch open rims means mud, snow, and ice easily accumulates and causes severe rumbling at high speeds. Seat warmers are not the hottest. Black paint chips very easily. Not meant for 5 adults, definitely not enough rear legroom. Would I go for an Audi Q3 again? Yes. I wanted a car that made me excited to look at and drive, yet get me safely through really tough conditions. I consider the fuel economy and affordable price as surprise bonuses.
  • I own an A4 and a Q3. Best cars ever owned.

I'm an Audi addict because of my wife. I owned 2 BMW's and was ready to buy a Mercedes Benz. Wouldn't even consider Audi. My wife implored me to just look. 60 seconds into a test drive I was a believer. Audi is a perfect combination of zest, finesse, appointments, quality, beauty and absolute driving joy. I bought the Q3 Prestige on the spot and could not be happier. Owning an A4 and a Q3 I am in auto heaven. EVERY single drive is an adventure in happiness.
